About us
An architecture and fit-out studio since 2014 — between design, site and technical office.
“The small detail on paper is what makes the difference on site.”
We are TAAQ Studio — a design and fit-out studio founded and led by Mohamed Wahba. A “taaq” is the architectural arch that carries the roof and ties a space together; that is what we try to do on every project. We started in Egypt in 2014 across design, fit-out and a furniture workshop; since 2024 we have worked in Saudi Arabia on fit-out and technical-office roles for large programmes in the Eastern Province — from shop drawings and submittals through to handover.
We work with contractors, consultants and owners as a technical partner: we draw, review, coordinate and follow through on site. We like work to be documented, so we build light tools on the project's own data to keep the whole team on the same page.
